As the primary supporter of the Reut Institute in Israel, Friends of Reut has approved a major grant intended to fund the specific projects outlined below.

We are seeking support from individual and foundation donors which will enable us to fully fund these critical programs.

  • Israel 15: Reut’s socio-economic team is guided by the Israel 15 Vision, which calls to place Israel among the fifteen leading countries in terms of quality of life. This vision is the inspiration behind the Local and Regional Leapfrog Projects (piloted in Tsfat and the Western Galilee), Smart Communities and TOM.
  • The Leapfrog Center: Designed to scale Reut’s Local Leapfrog model, which uniquely supports cities and regions in their journey to improve the quality of life of their residents.
  • TOM (Tikkun Olam Makers): TOM inspires and supports innovators worldwide to create extremely affordable solutions to neglected societal problems. TOM grew out of Reut’s Tikkun Olam initiative, calling for Israel and the Jewish People to make a significant contribution to the quality of life of 250 million people within a decade.
  • Firewall: Israel: A web platform designed to support every Jewish and pro-Israel community around the world in their effort to counter the BDS Movement and the delegitimization of Israel. It is based on a strategic framework created by the Reut Institute.
  • Delegitimization: As part of Reut’s work on National Security, the team is working on a current analysis of the delegitimization network and response principles, constituting Version B of Reut’s original work on this subject, titled “Building a Political Firewall Against Israel’s Delegitimization” (2010).
  • Israel as the Nation State of the Jewish People: This project studies the growing gap between the State of Israel and the Jewish Diaspora in the USA and elsewhere, seeking to develop a range of activities and programs to address this rift.
  • Strategic Leadership Training:  Reut’s Leadership Training Program recruits individuals who are committed to serving the State of Israel and the Jewish People and offers them a formative personal and professional experience en route to positions of authority, leadership, and influence.
